About the Certification

The "Lifestyle for Climate" (LiFE) certification program is an initiative under the Tamil Nadu Climate Change Mission, spearheaded by the Department of Environment & Climate Change. The program aims to provide a comprehensive framework that assesses and rewards buildings/institutions that implement sustainable measures.

Our vision is to democratize the green buildings market, which was previously reserved for higher-end buildings. With Tamil Nadu's focus on rapid decarbonization, this framework for resource-efficient building practices is the need of the hour.
